Happy Christmas!

Rudy was well known and respected in his small town.  Even those that had not met him, knew him on sight because of his flaming red hair (everyone in town called him "The Red").  One morning in late December, Rudy and his wife discussed the weather over breakfast.  "The forecast is for snow this Christmas," she said.
"Nope," replied Rudy, "the air is too warm."
The banter continued until a clap of thunder made them both look outside.  "You were right," Rudy's wife proclaimed.
His only comment was "Rudolph the Red, knows rain, dear."

Merry Christmas!
Scott

Anon,
Please feel free to share. I claim no originality. I heard a version of the story yesterday and embellished it for the blog.

A guy is having a terrible problem with a mouth condition. Goes to the doctor, who discovers a hole is forming in the roof of his mouth.

He determines a plate is the only option, but is unsure what kind of plate to implant. After questioning the patient, the doctor discovers the guy has been overindulging on Hollendaise sauce for the past several months.

"Then we must install a chrome plate," says the doctor.

"Chrome? Why chrome?" asks the paitent.

"Simple," says Doc, "There's no plate like chrome for the Hollendaise."
